The White Room

We had our wedding and reception at The White Room on May 11 in the evening. I can't say enough good things about The White Room. The venue was absolutly beautiful, the food was amazing and most of all Courtney, our event manager, was AMAZING! If it weren't for her the day would have been a lot more stressful. She made sure everyone walked down at the right times, she calmed my husband down when he running around trying to fix things before the wedding. She made us food, cause she knew we hadn't even thought about eating. She was the BEST! The White Room is worth every single penny we spent, in all honesty it's a bargain for edy of that they offer. The best choice we made in regard to the wedding was choosing The White Room. I would reccomend it to anyone, and especially using Courtney as the event manager. SHE WAS THE BEST.

I don't know what I love more The White Room or our Event Coordinator, Shannon. The White Room is the perfect place to have a wedding. Since they specialize in weddings they have everything down to a science so it runs smoothly, but it is also such a charming and beautiful space and so different than anything else I found. If you want a place that takes care of all of the details for you that isn't your tyipcal dated hotel ballroom - this is your place. We had our wedding on the rooftop and it was beautiful and perfect. Shannon and her staff set everything up for us and the space was amazing. She was there throughout the whole event so that everyone knew where to be and when and made sure my fiance and I as well as all of our guests were taken care of from start to finish. I did everything from California, mostly via email, and everything went off without a hitch. For those wondering, the White Room really does take care of anything. I really do not think you need a separate Wedding Planner because they really know what they are doing. We went with the Southern menu and it was delicious - BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, cole slaw, cornbread, shrimp and grits...I am getting hungry thinking about it. I love the White Room and Shannon and I miss our daily emails. :)

My daughter and her husband chose The White Room for their destination reception. The venue and the food were both outstanding! Our guests have been raving about the food! It was delicious! Courtney was so helpful and patient with us. Our phone calls and e-mails were answered immediately! Courtney and her staff were eager to please. The night was fantastic...so elegant and romantic!

I just loved the white room. All of the wedding coordinators there are so helpful they really make everything not stressful at all. The venue is just beautiful! I had purchased the rooftop wedding ceremony but it rained and at the last minute they had to change everything. I was so sad until I saw how wonderful they were able to make it. They really made my rainy wedding day amazing! The food and service was also wonderful, people are still telling me how great everything was! Thank you white room for making my day so wonderful! I recommend the white room to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding/ reception.

I can’t say enough good things about the White Room. I absolutely loved everything about the venue, including Meghan, our coordinator. She helped my mother and I through the whole process. She also let my mother visit as much as she needed to make sure everything was going to work just right  When we first went to the White Room I was sold on beauty alone, but it was more than beauty that makes this place the perfect place for a wedding. We had our ceremony on the rooftop which made for an awesome backdrop. The theme of our wedding was vintage so the grand White Room was the best place to have our reception. We had fried chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, cornbread, and blueberry cobbler on our menu. People are still talking about how great the food was and some even want the mac and cheese recipe. The service staff was also so pleasant and so nice to all the guests. Everybody was always smiling and asking if they could help. Meghan was also great in helping keep me calm the day of and made sure everything was perfect before, during and even after. She even made my plate for me! If you are looking for a wonderful place to have your wedding and reception, the White Room is awesome. I’m so happy I chose to get married here!!!

The White Room is an incredible place to get married! We had our ceremony on the rooftop, dinner inside the loft and the rest of the reception outside on the rooftop as well. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we got tons of compliments on it. Meghan was our coordinator and I HIGHLY recommend her, she is too amazing! She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and made sure everything went perfectly the day of - it turned exactly how we wanted it too. The food was also incredible, our guests having stopped talking about it! We seriously couldn't be happier, thanks again for making our day so perfect!

We had a fabulous wedding reception at The White Room! Everything was wonderful from the beautiful atmosphere, to the delicious food and of course the amazing staff. Our guests all continue to rave about how great everything was. The venue was the most important item to me in the wedding planning process. I work as an event planner for a wedding venue so I was worried about things meeting the expectations I am use to. The White Room met my expectations and more. Courtney did a fantastic job throughout the entire planning process and during the night of the event. She even made sure to set aside hors d'oeuvres and drinks for the wedding party while we were still taking pictures. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a unique reception venue with a great view and fantastic food.

AMAZING!!! The venue was BEAUTIFUL!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and that the venue was PERFECT!! We had our ceremony on the rooftop overlooking the bay and the day was amazing...the weather perfect, the service great and everything looked perfect. They are very professional and quick on responding with any questions. You receive you own event manager that will work with you on any questions, concerns, and ideas you may have. Meghan was so sweet and very professional! They have the entire process of the wedding day down perfectly ...it was flawless. I couldn't have asked for a better day and The White Room staff helped deliver exactly that. The value is spot on for all of the services you are receiving. I hope you choose to have your special day there. My day was so memorable and perfect...I promise if you choose this venue you will have the same experience.

The White Room was absolutley hands down the best people and place to work with for my wedding reception. Not only was the staff friendly, helpful, timely, and accomodating, but my guests said the food at our wedding was the best wedding food they had ever had. I planned an out of state wedding and had no problems at all with any of the planning over email and phone calls. The location and setup is top notch. They helped me set up everything in the way that I wanted and never stepped in the way at all. The wait staff during the reception was awesome too! They helped the night go smoothly and coordinated our depature at the end of the night. I think this place is fantastic!!!!

The White Room. What a place! I am so happy this is where Dan and I chose to get married. The location was absolutely perfect and the customer service and professionalism of the staff are out of this world. I worked specifically with two ladies: Courtney and Meghan. They did a fantastic job. Courtney was our wedding coordinator on the day Dan and I were married, and she truly put us at ease! I've never felt more taken care of anywhere else in my life. The whole night went off without a hitch. Everyone was so kind and friendly, the food was delicious, and the night was perfect. We used the complimentary room at the Bella Bay for the groom and groom's men to get ready before the wedding - which was wonderfully convenient for the guys. I cannot say enough about the exceptional service I received from this place. They have an incredible team of professionals who know exactly what they're doing. Everything was top notch. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely keep everything as it was --- perfect!

The White Room St. Augustine is not only one of the most beautiful places to get married, but also one with the best service in town. The White Room captures St. Augustine's qualities as it overlooks the bay and is downtown with exposed brick walls and shabby chic decorations, just walking into the room it sells you on having your wedding there. But, once you meet the staff, you'll be even more sure that it's the place you'll want to be married. The staff is welcoming, extremely helpful and gracious. My event planner, Meghan helped plan my entire wedding over the phone and via email (as I live in Missouri), she took the time to envision exactly what I wanted for "my day" and made sure that all my dreams came true. The food was beyond delicious, every guest at our wedding was amazed at wonderful it was (prime rib with chicken florentine), the servers were always attentive, drinks were always full, appetizers constantly passed - everything was flawless. If you are a bride, planning to get married in St. Augustine, trust me, The White Room or The White Room Loft is the place to get married. (PS - Meghan, my event coordinator was absolutely fabulous - ask for her :)

We did a brunch Reception on July 2nd 2011. What a pleasure to work with! We were able to adjust our menu. I think people might think it is a bit high in price. But we were on a tight budge and Magan work with us all the way. I have to say THE WHITE ROOM was worth every penny we spent. We live across the state and to have had to put everything together like location, quaility of food, help to set-up, help to serve, help to clean up..... ect. The White Room was an incredible venue for our ceremony and reception! From the second we walked in, my mom knew this was the place! The food is ridiculously good- the shrimp and grits are incredible and probably the best I've ever had! Courtney and the rest of the White Room were absolutely perfect as they helped us plan our wedding! We got SO MANY compliments on the beauty of the view and the loft and the food!! Most of our guests were from out of town and we know the White Room gave them a true St. Augustine experience! We had a beautiful wedding day and I can't say enough about this place and the people working there. Just wonderful! THANK YOU!!

My wedding was two weeks ago at The White Room and it was truly the best night of my life! We had our ceremony on the Rooftop and our reception in the Loft. Courtney and staff did a fantastic job from the start of my planning 10 months ago through the end of the reception There was not one detail overlooked and we were treated like royalty. The White Room is an absolutely stunning venu with a few different options to fit your needs. The food was 5-star - our guests are still raving about the beef tenderloin and shrimp and grits. I could not be happier with everything! Thank you to Courtney and The White Room for making my dream wedding come to life!

I would absolutely recommend The White Room to any brides looking for a beautiful place to get married in St. Augustine. Not only is the view amazing but The White Room is so beautiful and unique inside!! I also couldn't have asked for anything more on our wedding day! Courtney was our coordinator and she was seriously amazing!! I was really nervous about the flow of events and not knowing what to do but she was always on the sidelines, ready in case we had any questions or tell us where we needed to be next.

One of the best venues in town! Very old Florida with southern charm. So pretty that you really don't have to do too much decorating. The food was EXCELLENT and the staff made our wedding day a breeze. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. I worked with Megan and she helped me with organizing the day so that I didn't need to worry about a planner. I will always remember our special day here- November 13, 2010!

The White Room was great to work with. They are a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth it. Everyone was friendly and helped our wedding and reception turn out great. They provided great service the day of, and I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything. The food was AMAZING! Everyone raved about it. The view from The Loft was stunning. Our original planner had a baby right before our wedding, so we were switched to another planner last minute, and it didn't affect anything at all. Everything turned out just how I wanted it, and it was truly a wonderful evening :)

I had my ceremony and reception at The White Room and cannot say enough good things about it. Despite some very serious drama that happened the DAY before the wedding (people in my family threatening to call and cancel everything) everything went off without a hitch. I was so pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything looked and how little I actually did the day of/before as far as setting up. We got FAR MORE from Shannon than we paid for, and her spunky, positive attitude made what was supposed to be an incredibly stressful day incredibly easy. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received about it being “the most gorgeous wedding we’ve ever been to” and I owe a huge part of that to Shannon and the entire White Room staff. I had no issues getting answers from Shannon, and have piles of e-mails between the two of us in the months leading up to the wedding. One when I was up stressed at 2 A.M. and she happened to be on at the same time and responded right away. I constantly bombarded her with questions, and she would always give a speedy reply with a little “take a deep breath everything will be great” at the end. The staff (servers, bartenders, etc.) were amazing and did everything with smiles on their faces. The weather was bad all day but cleared up before the wedding and even though everything was already set up inside everyone worked together and helped move everything outside because I wanted it out there originally (looking back if I were them I would have wanted to hurt me! Haha) Each of my vendors had nothing but praises for the staff and commented on the easiness of working there and each said they’d love to have more opportunities to work with The White Room again. The food was amazing and worth every penny. I changed my menu multiple times but I am so glad we spent a little bit more because it was so worth it. I didn’t drink but was told the drinks were far from weak. I could go on an on about my awesome experience with The White Room, but to sum it up HAVE YOUR WEDDING there! I am positive you will NOT regret it. I'd give them a 10 out of 5 if I could!

I though this was a great venue for receptions. The people were great to work with and fast to respond to any questions I had throughout the planning process. They do their own catering because they are part of The restaurant OC Whites. They also have a few very nice rooms for rent if you wanted to include that in your package. The food was good but not exceptional. But the main reason I thought this was a great choice was the room. It is beautiful, the floors, the exposed brick, the columns, the balcony, the bar, and the view. The set up goes with any theme and allows you to have any unique layout you want. You cant get much better in St. Augustine. I would definitely have another celebration there.

I had my reception for 85 people at the White Room Loft and Rooftop. It was such a unique space, not your typical wedding venue. And my guests loved it! It looked beautiful on our big day! We loved being able to have the indoors for dinner, and the rooftop for the partying. It was very windy on our wedding day, but last minute (and without fuss) the White Room rented a gorgeous tent for the roof that blocked the wind and looked just as beautiful as the rest of it. The service from the White Room staff was also world class. They made everything hassle free and really fun! The food, too, was fantastic (at both the cocktail hour and dinner). My guests are still talking about it. Exactly what we wanted. A bit pricey, but to be honest, most places at this caliber are more. The White Room offers so many special details...so it was well worth it!
