Stover's Custom Cakes

Mindy was awesome! There are not enough words to describe perfect service. Our cake was beautiful and we allowed her creative freedom. The cake was more than what I expected and I will never forget it. We received so many compliments about the cake and it was delicious as well.--CherylMindy also did my flowers and they were beautiful as well

I was extremely dissatisfied with Mindy Stover and her so called business. Granted she did provide good tastings but her lack of communication was so severe that it took me actually going to her "place of business" which turned out to be her home! in which the appearance was run down and dirty not to mention that she has barking dogs running throughout her house and she would not even open the door to a paying client! she spoke to me thru a screen window and when I asked to see her kitchen in which she was going to make my daughter's wedding cake she flat out refused me. Her words were "absolutly not" at which point I was completely frustrated to say the least! She then offered me a refund to which I said yes but then she wanted to meet up at a Walmart, of all places! We met her and she then decided to recant the offer of the refund! I am very glad that I made that unexpected trip out to her house because I would have hated to see what sort of disaster she was going to bring to the most important day of a young womans life, my only daughters wedding. I refuse to rate her in any catagory as she was discusting on all counts. Never will recommend Stover Cakes to anyone but will be sure to mention just why I went with someone else.Sincerely, Most Dissappointed

she did my wedding cake, i was very pleased with the price, design and flavors of the cake. she did a 3tier cake , with italian cream cake(with fresh strawberries), mexican chocolate cake and a carrot cake. all the flavors were very yummy!! the cake was beautiful! way more than i would of expected! i have worked with her ever since then. i go to her for all of my families birthday cakes! i would recommend her to anyone!

I was really excited to work with Mindy after we met. She seemed really professional, her prices were good, the sample cakes were presented well and tasted good. She told me she would send the contract on Monday and 1-2 weeks went by. I emailed her several times before she responded, saying her friend had a miscarriage. I felt bad for being pushy and apologized. Mindy said she would send the contract right away. A few more weeks went by and I heard nothing. I finally emailed her that if this wasn't a good time for her she should at least let me know. I haven't heard anything since!! I understand people go through personal problems, but you can't just fall off the face of the earth. I kept giving her a chance because I really liked her and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm just glad we hadn't paid her anything yet!

She did a really good job on the wedding cake,but the grooms cake was all wrong.She got the flowers for the guys and parents,but did not bring pins for them.Asked for them said she was going to get them and just left.Cake was great but think she had to much to do are something,but did not think you should go with her.Her price is really good,but needs to work on better way to keep up with her cakes that have to be made.Not just write on piece of paper then lose it.
