St. Simons Elopements

Carla was wonderful! Everything was perfect from how she helped us pick the spot and time to her flexibility with our dates changing three times. My flowers were exactly how I pictured them. Carla tailored our ceremony so wonderfully with a reading of two poems by our favorite poet. She was so easy to communicate with either by phone or email with friendly helpful professionalism. Carla helped to decide on reception venue and hotel accommodations as well as the ceremony options. Our photographer Luke from Lone Pine Photography was booked by Mrs. Carla. He was so wonderful and all of our pictures are so beautiful! The price didn't break our budget and everything from the seating to the vows were exactly what we wanted! I recommend St. Simon's Elopements to make your life stress free and put fun, elegance and beauty into your wedding day.

We called Carla Pryor to discuss eloping to St. Simons Island. We weren't allowing a lot of time, because I knew I couldn't keep it a secret for a long time! All I knew is that we wanted to get married on the top of the lighthouse on 11/11/11. We didn't know colors, flowers, attire or anything else. She helped us plan the perfect ceremony, down to etched champaign flutes and a "sand bucket" chiller that she herself painted our monogram on! We couldn't have been more pleased....Carla was always so cheerful and professional (even when I would change my mind, then change it back). She wanted to meet with us the day before the wedding so she could make it more personal. Every detail was perfect, even the certificate.

I can not express how THANKFUL I am to have found Carla to help me with my wedding, She is wonderful! I changed my mind several times.... wanted some specific things done..... Carla NEVER once made me feel like a BRIDE-ZILLA... she listened to me and arranged everything. My wedding day was perfect.... "THANK YOU" will never be enough....

I found Carla when my fiance and I were at our wits end planning a big wedding in Atlanta. One of us had the brilliant idea to just throw it all out the window and just run away and get married. Luckily, with Carla's help, we were able to do just that. Carla served as officiant, brought the flowers, and helped the two of us "non-wedding" types have a beautiful afternoon ceremony. She is very kind, and made wonderful recommendations for the area. Alas, we ended up with a lot of smoke thanks to some unwelcome guests, a.k.a the wildfires, but she took it all in stride and never made us feel like we were going to have a disaster on our hands.

I can not imagine finding someone that could have provided a better wedding experience for us than Carla with St. Simons Elopements. We decided to elope to Jekyll Island about a week before the date we wanted our ceremony to take place. I spoke with Carla for the first time on Monday and with just a couple short phone calls in between, we had a perfect wedding ceremony on Saturday on Driftwood Beach. She took absolutely ALL of the stress out of the process. She truley made me feel completely confident that everything was going to be perfect for us, and most importantly, she delivered! She is such a geniune person. I think the best part about having Carla officiate our wedding was that she has a amazing ability to make you feel like she is just another friend of family member there by your side. She really made us feel special. It is apparent in everything she does that she truly cares about your day and takes pride in making your day special! I actually couldn't wait to get home and write a review for St. Simons Elopements because I think everyone should have such a perfect wedding! I think everyone should experience the romance of an elopement and there's no better way than with Carla by your side. There is not one thing I would have changed.

I could not have asked for a better person to help me with my wedding. My wedding was not actually an Elopment, Mrs. Carla was my wedding planner. She was my saving grace during my wedding planning period. I don't think I would've made it with out her. Mrs. Carla really made it possible for me to enjoy the planning process of my wedding. She pays close attention to every detail and makes everything so much easier for you. I would HIGHLY recommend St. Simons Elopements to anyone. It was the best decison I made for my wedding. She was there with me on my wedding day also to help with any minor and or major details that came up that needed to be taken care of with out me even knowning some of them. She is GREAT and a huge help for everying during the planning process and on your wedding day.

Carla has been wonderful to work with, and she did an excellent job of providing us with all of our options etc....I was quite surprised after our first encounter with her. We wanted to have a beach wedding at sunset. After a couple of days, she must have done some research and informed me the that the tide at the time of day was going to be unbearable and suggested us getting married in the beautiful King Park. She sent me a picture of a previous wedding set up at this place, and we fell in love with it. Jeremy and I had initially planned to get married outside; however, it stormed like crazy about an hour before our wedding after a beautiful day of blue skies. The park was ankle deep in water and so Carla came to our hotel room at the Village Inn and we discussed our options. The Village Inn agreed to let us use their Pub....Yes, we decided to get married in a bar, but it could not have turned out any better. The lighting was very warm and romantic and the guest standing and sitting around in the small area made it extremely intimate...Jeremy and I are very nontraditional and ended up loving the idea. I don't think the night could have gone any better had it not rained. Thank you Carla for everything and for turning a unpredictable situation to an evening that we will never forget.

Carla was a godsend ....She became more than a wedding planner she entered our lives in a time where prayer was needed due ro an accident my Finace had...I could not have asked for a nicer person to plan my perfect day!
