Simply Delicious Cakes

Our cake was exactly what we wanted and hoped for! We loved the design and the flavor! We chose multiple flavors and they were both delicious, moist and everyone loved them! The design was gorgeous and professional. Simply Delicious even created a gluten free cake for the mother of the bride to have seporate. This was perfect!

Ms. Theresa was great. She worked with us along the way to make sure I got what I wanted for my wedding day. However, when the wedding day came, she was 2 hours late and what we had ordered was not right. She had used white cake with chocolate frosting when we ordered pina coloda cake.

Mrs. Theresa was absolutely amazing! She did an incredible job on my wedding cake and my groom's cake which was in the shape of an Xbox! My aunt forgot to leave the fresh flowers for the wedding cake at the reception hall!!!! Disaster to say the least! Mrs. Theresa waited 3 hours until we arrived to use one of the bridesmaid's bouquets! She was so sweet about it! My mom & I fell in love with her and will use her for every event from now on!

I decided to do 3 flavors of cupcakes instead of a wedding cake - devil's food cake, hummingbird, and lemon white chocolate. I especially loved the lemon white chocolate cake. Theresa was great to work with. She listened so well to the things I wanted and did everything to my liking. She also made the groom's cake in a golf theme and the flavor was strawberry margarita with key lime cream cheese filling. Everyone raved how delicious the cupcakes and cake were!

The cake was delicious. Here you are paying for the taste, not design. We went with something very simple. I did not care about how it looked. We had a chocolate/chocolate layer and a strawberry margarita layer. It was so good. It was at a great price too!

Theresa at Simply Delicious! was one of the most amazing people I had the pleasure of working with in planning my wedding. She was so sweet and kind and more than willing to work with all of my odd design ideas, strange requests and special needs. What first drew me in was the taste of her cakes. I'd set up tastings at bakeries all over Jax, but no one's cake was as moist, sweet and flavorful as the cakes I sampled at Simply Delicious! She has so many flavors to choose from and they're all so decadent that I practically licked my sample plate clean. What made me decide to choose her was her passion for this art and her desire to make me the cake of my dreams. And she truly did. The guests at my wedding raved about the cake, saying that it was not only the coolest and most artistic looking cake they've ever seen at a wedding, but also that they've never had a wedding cake taste so good in their entire lives. I knew as soon as I saw her set up the cake in our reception room that I'd made the right decision, and the fact that I STILL have friends and family raving about the cake makes me know that Theresa was the best anyone in Jacksonville can get! She also made our "grooms cake" which actually was a 0g sugar, splenda cake that I'd specially ordered for my guests who are diabetic. They were so grateful to be able to share in the splendor of enjoying wedding cake and they all agreed that it was the best "sugar free" cake they'd ever tasted. I love the Splenda Cake so much I will be ordering it for my upcoming graduation party, my birthday and my dance recital celebration, because it is a cake that EVERYONE can enjoy because it is safe for diabetics but tastes as sweet and delicious as regular cake. Amazing! Honestly, I am so happy with Theresa and Simply Delicious that I will order every cake I will ever need from her. She has made more than a customer out of me. She has made a loyal friend.

Theresa was very nice. She was a bit unreceptive to some of the ideas for my cake at first but she was very understanding and did the best she could to accommodate my wishes. I had three fabulous different flavors and they were all so wonderful. All of my guests said that the cake was one of the best tasting cakes they had ever had. However the cake was not presented quite like I would have liked and did not meet my expectations that I had of Theresa. She had such beautiful cake that she had made before and it seemed that my cake was not as perfect as some of her other cakes that I had seen. Other than that she has been really nice and the cake tasted wonderful!

Theresa at Simply Delicious is super nice! We told her what we wanted and she did it exactly! Her cakes are amazing too! Sooooo good! We had the raspberry cream filling and it was delicious! Great service and everything was 100% perfect!

Theresa created my cake for my wedding day and I was fully satisfied with her service. She worked to help me imagine and create my cake for my wedding. I gave her my idea she reaserched it and after the next meeting I had no doubt it was going to be awesome! I genuinley recommend her for any event bakery needs! She is reasonable and ensures you do not waste your money on extra cake! Her strawberry margarita cake is the best! She has the most moist cake ever!

Teresa @ Simply Delicious did a fantastic job on my wedding cake and the grooms cake. She even made a gluten free cake for my mother and her brother. I highly recommenrd Simply Delicious!!!

I loved Theresa. She designed a perfect wedding cake for me. We used a design off my dress as the starting point. I'm sad to say that I wasn't able to see the cake completed. The over 100 degree heat caused my cake to collapse. If only Theresa would have had a frig big enough for my entire cake. It was her first collapse and I'm sure her last. I'm sure she has a frig now. That is why you will note the 1.0 in quality of service. Everything was perfect until 5 hours before the cutting. The cake was delicious to eat, it just didn't meet my expectations in presentation due to the heat.

My girlfriends and I decided to surprise a friend with a strawberry margarita cake that she loved when she visited the store. Our friend decided to go with a different bakery for her event, but we still wanted her to have this cake. When we picked up the cake we were caught off guard that the baker was frustrated that our friend didn't select her for the main event and made it a point to tell us in an inappropriate manner. We also felt that the cake wasn't decorated well because of her frustration.

If you go to the website, our cake was the Cinderella Cake. Our wedding was themed and we had imagined a very elaborate cake. We came to our first meeting with 5 lenox pieces, a crystal piece, and a drawing. She made it come to life. Everything was beautiful and it was better then what we could have imagined it being. I would recommend her anytime!! Not to mention that the cake was a perfect flavor. I do not have one complaint.
