We LOVED Carlton - and most importantly - our guests loved him! He did an amazing job - the dance floor was so packed, you could feel the floor shaking. There were people dancing from the moment they entered the reception room till the moment they prepared everyone for our exit :) Which, when it was delayed by almost an hour - Carlton kept his cool, kept playing music - nobody even noticed anything was delayed! I knew it was going to be great when we first met him. He was easy to contact, even though we were planning from out of state. He was hilarious, friendly, and has fantastic taste in music. He played every song on our request list. People are still coming up to us, a month later, to tell us that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. We've even gotten letters about what an amazing fun night it was. It was truly the best night of my life - and Carlton contributed largely to that! I couldn't be happier with his work!

McGee Entertainment was extremely generous in being flexible with our busy schedule. They were kind, friendly yet professional, and awesome at delivering a wonderful experience for us and our guests!

Carlton was amazing! He went above and beyond every single request that my fiance and I made. As a matter of fact, he helped out with preparations at the reception last minute when things were running behind! Not in his job description, but he helped anyway to ensure that our night was the best possible. What a wonderful addition he and McGee Entertainment were to our special day and I could not have asked for better. 193786% satisfied!

DJ Jerry was great! He was very professional and friendly. He kept the night's schedule flowing very well. Only downfall was he played my entire "Do Not Play" list that was agreed upon before the event. Jerry called me up to dance with my wedding party and by the time I realized it was my do not play list I didn't want to spoil the fun so I just went with it. Other than that, everything was perfect!!! Jerry kept everyone wanting more!!

Carlton McGee did an awesome job at my wedding. My husband and I were extremely pleased with his performance and professionalism. We had nothing but compliments from our guests about the music that was played during our reception. There was a mixture of music played for all guests to enjoy. I would highly recommend McGee Entertainment for any wedding occassion.

Milton interacted with the guests to get everyone out dancing! I also wasn't sure how the flow of the event should go so I just told him what I liked and he carried out everything perfectly! We had so much fun!

Carlton is an amazing entertainer! He is very professional and has state of the art equipment! I knew that I can trust him to play the right mix of music to get people up out of their chairs and dancing. Carlton was amazing!!! I heard he was the best and he is. Everyone loved him and I loved working with him. One of the best parts of the wedding for certain. I adore him and hope that I have friends who need a DJ in the future because recommending him will be such a pleasure!!!!!!

We planned our wedding from out of town and one of the goals for my wedding was that it would be a big party all our guests would enjoy. Being the type A bride I am, I provided Milton with, I think, a 7 page list of songs! He did a FANTASTIC job playing as many of the songs I requested as could humanly be played and ensuring that EVERYONE was out dancing and just about all times. Just what I wanted! McGee Entertainment and Milton was some of the best money we spent on the wedding, hands down. I would highly recommend him and am so happy we chose him, 5 stars all around.

McGee Entertainment is a great company. The Dj for my wedding was Milton and he was fantastic. After the wedding all my wedding party and guests stated your Dj was wonderful. I would reccomend this company to anyone. Thanks Milton and I will definitely contact you in the future for party needs.

Carlton was a great DJ... We couldn't have asked for anything better :) The ceremony and wedding were beautiful. All of our guests said that this was the most fun they had at a wedding and we believe it was because of the music. I will definitely recommend McGee Entertainment to anybody!

Carlton, we don’t even know where to begin in our thank you’s. The music, the energy, the passion that filled the room created the celebration our bride and groom were looking for!! Everything was beautiful, but music lends so much. You were truly “tuned into” what they wanted and we could not have been happier. Well, actually, that is not quite true!! We didn’t want the evening to end!! But that would again point to how wonderful the party was from its very beginning. The Prelude, the processionals, their recess, the intros. . . .and thank you for not letting us lapse during the dinner service!! Our wedding coordinator said it best when she told me that she has to write a quick summary at the evening’s end. She actually chose to write earlier that it was an awesome party. Salad’s served but they’re all dancing!! Your professional approach, but light heart represent your business well and the preferred vendor list also!!! Many, many thanks for an awesome experience!!

This vendor was the only disappointment to my perfect day. We booked McGee Entertainment a year before our event. A whole YEAR in advance! One of the main reason, we went with them was the guarantee from the owner-Carlton, he would be the one playing at our wedding. He even went as far as to type his name only on the contract we signed. Another company had better rates but could not confirm the DJ we met would be the same one at our wedding and so we selected McGee Entertainment instead.Exactly 6 days before our wedding for our final meeting. Carlton did not show up and would not answer our phone calls. His brother Milton was left to ‘sort things out’ and clearly wasn’t happy with the role as he insulted me several times throughout the meeting. Needless to say, the time we took building the rapport and explaining our special needs (our wedding was bi-racial and blended culture) was lost in translation. At our reception, Milton tried to read the crowd and clearly did the best he could with 5 day preparation. Unfortunately, most of my Jamaican family (who loves to dance) had no choice but to be best friends with the bar instead of the dance floor. He even failed to play the “Step in the Name of Love” by R. Kelley I specifically requested at the meeting in order to do a group dance with my friends. I would NOT recommend this company as you could easily be left out in the cold.

Carlton did a fantastic job of keeping the reception rolling. He is a very experienced DJ.He was open to using music we suggested.He needs to be a little more responsive to the nervous clients before the events. This minor fault would not keep me from hiring him again.

McGee Entertainment was extremely professional, reliable, and they provided the exact wedding DJ experience that my wife and I were looking for. Milton, the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception, custom tailored the entire event to meet our exact vision on how the evening would go. He played hard-to-find tracks for our ceremony, seperate genres for the cocktail hour and dinner, had every key song organized and timed perfectly, and had the dance floor packed all night with all the classic hits we wanted to hear. Our wedding could not have gone smoother and we have Milton to thank for most of it!

Carlton from McGee Entertainment was awesome! He made sure all of guests had a great time. He played all our requested songs and new what type of songs to add when needed. He helped make my wedding night perfect!
