Kara Winslow Makeup Artist

Kara was amazing and I know my wife was so thrilled to be working with her! She did such an amazing job on not only my wife, but her grandmother, and the bridesmaids. Iw ould recommend Kara to anybody in need of a make up artist!

Kara did the make-up for my wedding in Gainesville in May 2011. I am not a gal that normally wears much, if any make-up, at all. Kara was great at providing recommendations and did exactly what I asked her to do, which was to keep it natural but enhanced. I felt 100% like my best self on my wedding day and the make-up application was perfect in photos too. Kara was very professional. She was always available through email or phone and was always very punctual. I could not believe that she was there through my preparations both at the hotel and the wedding site, but she stayed through the wedding to touch up my make-up for pictures after. I really have nothing but great things to say about her and would definitely recommend her other brides. I'm thinking of taking one of make-up application tutorials because she really was amazing. Kara did my wedding make-up in March. She was very professional at all times and punctual on the wedding date. Since I do like to wear make up on a regular basis, it was just great to have her do a dramatic look with color that still looked simple and appropriate for the occasion. She made me feel worry-free, which was priceless to me on those very stressing final days before the wedding. Kara stayed with me throughout the picture session after the ceremony and re-touched me when needed, so my pictures turned out great! With no doubt in my mind, I would recommend her for wedding make-up and other special occasions.

A friend referred me to Kara two weeks before my wedding after a makeup trial with another professional went horribly wrong. She assured me that my makeup would look natural but enhanced.
