Jacksonville String Quartet

Anna played at our wedding on Amelia Island earlier this year. She was incredibly flexible and did a great job. I would recommend her to anyone. Her music was a beautiful touch to our ceremony and the guests loved it. She is someone I’ve known for a number of years and I think highly of her work and have a lot of respect for her.

I used the quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They were fabulous! They have a great list of musical choices and can mix things up with some newer stuff such as Cold Play and The Beatles. They were extremely professional and even added a song to the playlist per our request. You would definitely be in good hands with these guys!

I dealt with Anna. She was great and prompt. These ladies played at my rehearsal dinner the night before and also did my ceremony music. They were talented and very professional. We used the Jacksonville String Quartet (Duet, really) for our small 40-person wedding at the Pena Peck House in St Augustine. Anna was extremely responsive to emails, and very flexible when it came to the songs & the order of selections. They have a list of song suggestions to choose from, which really helped me, as I had no idea where to begin. Anna was also very helpful in selecting how many songs we needed to have played, as it was a small & simple ceremony. Anna (Cello) & Olivia (the Violinist, I believe) were barely noticed as they set-up during photos, but everyone noticed their amazing performances as soon as they started playing. We initially toyed with the idea of having just a soloist but my fiance convinced me to go with the duet as the music would sound more 'full'. I'm so happy we did - the music was absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on the music & their performance - they were well worth it!

My husband and I got married on April 16, 2011 at Jax Beach. We had Monique come out to play the violin for our ceremony. Not only was she prompt and professional but the music was lovely. I felt so wonderful walking out with the beautiful sounds of the strings floating on the breeze. Jacksonville String Quartet was a great choice for our wedding! We couldn't be happier! We only had a duet (violin and cello) playing during our wedding ceremony and one hour during cocktail. They are amazing musicians! We were so happy with their music and so were our guests! They are very talented musicians and very professional. They got at the wedding venue early like they promised and they started playing to our guests. I highly recommend Anna Wilson (cello) and Monique (violin) if you wish to have an amazing and sophisticated wedding ceremony/reception.

Jax String Quartet was such a wonderful touch to our outdoor garden wedding at Palm Valley Gardens. Anna was absolutely wonderful to communicate with! The others in the group seem so sweet and the music was just beautiful from what I remember.... I was so nervous walking down the aisle with my Dad, I was hardly paying attention! That said, we got a lot of compliments on the ceremony music and I truly believe they are the best value in the region. Thanks for making our ceremony so special!!! =)

The String Quartet ladies were great!!! I actually requested only 2 of the 4 instruments for my wedding ceremony, and they were very responsive to my request. They were professional, courteous, talented, and reasonably priced! I was able to give them my list of songs to play and they had no problems playing all 4 songs. Thanks for making my special day even more perfect!
