We loved our DJ, Kris Parnell! It was really nice to see a DJ that understood the crowd and changed the music according to the mood in the room. There was a nice combination of upbeat and slow songs. All of our guests kept saying how much fun they had and that they really loved the music that was playing.What was also nice is that he has uplighting available to rent, which was a great addition (rather than having an event production team come out) and it was perfect! He also special ordered our gobo light (personalized monogram light that shined on the dancefloor) which all of our guests (and we) loved.We would recommend him to any of our friends getting married! Thank you, Kris!

We decided on a DJ because we wanted friends and family to be able to requests songs. It was also important for us to keep the flow of the evening going for all generations to have fun in. Footloose Entertainment was our DJ vendor. They are very large company so they are familiar with multiple venues which is a positive because they already know the policies, where they can set up, and how their sound systems should work in the space you are providing. They are a little commercialized because of the large company setting, so make sure you are VERY specific on your expectations of your evening when you have your face to face meeting. Try to think of all scenarios, music being obnoxiously too loud, inappropriate songs being plaid when kids and grandparents may be there, songs that are requested should be played close to the request time rather than losing their luster and being played an hour later, specific songs you MUST have played during the evening, etc. They have a big convenience factor of putting al of your preferred information into their on line profile for your wedding as well as a payment center online that you can pay them at versus writing checks or meeting face to face for a payment.

I thought Kris did a great job! Anytime I called or emailed he did a great job at responding in a timely manner. Everyone and I mean everyone danced the entire night! He kept the evening on schedule. He arrived on time stayed until he was supposed to go, I thought it was perfect!

Kris with Footloose was Awesome! He was an excellent DJ! On top of the fact he's very fun, He's professional and goes overboard to help in any way that he can throughout the evening! We loved having him as the DJ for our Daughter's wedding and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Kris for a great night!

Let me just start out by saying, our crowd was not an easy crowd to please. We are Asian decent and therefore half of our guests were a little uptight, traditional Asian elders.=) We on the other hand are a lot more Americanized. Despite the language barriers at times with the elders, Kris definitely kept his professionalism. We had a blast! He didn't just stay by the DJ booth, he walked around and made sure the guests were involved and made sure we were comfortable. Planning things with Kris was a breeze. I spoke with him for maybe 10 minutes when booking him and another 10 minutes just a few days before the wedding. Payment can be made on his website. Really easy! Thanks, Kris!

Kris was great and played most of the songs I requested him play. He did a pretty good job keeping the day on schedule and kept the guests involved in the reception activities.

Overall, my husband and I were pleased with our DJ Kris. During our wedding reception, he was responsive to the crowd and their requests. Initially, guests were hesitant to get on the dance floor but once they were up he was able to keep them dancing all night. His prices were reasonable as well. Unfortunately, one disappointment was his attention to detail. In that 1) he mispronounced the best man's name after going over it multiple times and 2) although asked, he did not announce the significance of the mother/son dance which was originally sung by the groom's grandfather and was very special to the family. This led to a lot of confused faces around the room. He later mentioned it but by then the moment had passed. His reluctance to respond to emails during the planning in the months leading up to the wedding was another disappointment. Sometimes weeks would go by with no response which was a concern to me as I was planning the wedding from overseas and email was the only reasonable way to communicate. However, he was able to meet with me twice to discuss the details and seemed to have read all the emails I had sent. Overall, he was able to accommodate our special requests and was organized and professional on the wedding day. I would recommend him to future brides based on price and how well he did on the actual day. But maybe he would work best with more laid back brides with less needs and questions.

Kris from footloose was our DJ and he did an excellent job. He was early to set up and helped us with some plans we had not even thought about. He really helped keep the night moving smoothly and when the crowd didn't seem to want to dance he was able to change it up to get them out there on the floor. He was very flexible playing our music and still working in things to keep the crowd happy. We were very pleased with Kris and he was a true professional, I recommend using him for your event!

Kris Parnell did a great job with the music selection. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing the night away!

I can't say enough about our DJ who made our reception so much fun for everyone. Kris not only played all the songs we wanted, he was able to "read" the crowd and tailor the music to the mood of the crowd. His music selections were so great we extended his time by an hour because everyone was having so much fun. He happily stayed for the extra hour with only a few minutes notice.Kris went above and beyond at our reception including tasks that were clearly outside his job description. At one point I saw him moving chairs and serving drinks! He was so pleasant to work with and absolutely made our reception what it was - I would highly recommend him!

I used Footloose for my ceremony AND reception. The speakers were cracking during the whole ceremony. Not sure if that was really their fault though. I was upset that there was a mix up between communication from the person I spoke with and the actual DJ. The whole reason I paid extra for the speakers being outside for the ceremony was so I could have a specific song played for the girls to walk down the isle to. It was really important to me. I didn't find out until the middle of the ceremony when the DJ asked me when I would like that song played that it wasn't played at all. I was really heartbroken. Other than that, the reception was nice and everyone danced the whole time.

I can’t say enough about my experience working with Kris at Footloose Entertainment!!! He was amazing!! He went so far above and beyond my expectations for a wedding DJ! He made sure we had whatever we needed and even helped make sure our set-up was perfect. He was a consummate professional, showing up to every meeting and providing valuable advice ever step of the way. I was so nervous about my wedding day timeline, but Kris worked to make everything flow together so seamlessly. He created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and cocktail hour and really read the crowd to make our reception so much fun. We couldn’t have done it without him!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any event!!

Kris was FANTASTIC at our wedding. The music was great and everyone had an amazing time. He also kept the flow of our day moving and did everything we asked including playing songs that our friends had brought on CD. He was flexible and knew our venue so he knew exactly how to set everything up. The dancefloor was packed until the very end, it was awesome. This DJ and his crew is definitely recommended.

Footloose Entertainment was a very professional DJ service. My wedding reception was done very nice and professional. The DJ's main concern is the music and keeping everyone happy but they also cares about how the bride and groom are doing, specifically. The attire is very nice and the DJ's services only added to the experience. Kris Parnell is the perfect DJ.

Kris was the best DJ any bride could ask for! I had never been very involved with the planning of a wedding before and Kris was a great resource. He made several recommendations and suggestions, most of which I had never even thought about. With Kris' help, my wedding moved along smoothly and I loved seeing everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves! I recommend Footloose Entrainment every chance I get!!!

Great! People were on the dance floor the whole night...exactly what we wanted! He took us through the decades with the music and everyone appreciated it. The DJ kept up with us all night making sure our timeline was exactly what we wanted. All requests had to be run by us to make sure the bride and groom were happy with the music. Definitely a high recommendation for other weddings.

Footloose Entertainment is the best DJ around the Jacksonville area. I used Kris for our wedding, and we couldnt have been happier. Our wedding was anything but the normal. We incorporated alot of fun and different things into the traditional wedding reception. Footloose was more than happy to make things just the way we perfered even if they were out of the norm. Mike did a great job. The reception was very fun & the music & dancing made it. My original DJ that I reserved at Footloose canceled on me, but before he told me he couldn't do it, he already had a replacement lined up & he turned out to be a very good dj. I was pleased.
