As we were planning a destination wedding and had already booked our photographer for the wedding, we chose Tania at Clear Skies Photography to do our engagement session locally in Jacksonville. Tania is extraordinarily talented and creative, which is why we chose her. But working with her was just as memorable! She is easy going, very easy to work with, prompt, professional, fun to be around, and has that quality about her that allowed us to really be ourselves- which is so important when taking pictures. We had so much fun throughout the engagement session, and just adored our pictures. Had we gotten married locally, it would have been a no-brainer to hire Tania as our wedding photographer. I recommend 100%!

My husband and I drove 10 hours to be married on Amelia Island, FL. We had a non-traditional elopement ceremony so we came sight unseen! I chose Clear Skies Photography from their website, I loved the vibrant color her pictures had. She helped me with everything, not just photography, and I couldn't have put it all together without her! There was a storm brewing probably 10 miles away and the wind was fierce, but Tania made it work! Our pictures turned out beatifully! I couldn't have asked for more! She has great ideas and great talent! I would drive another 10 hours for another photgraphy session with her!

Clear Skies Photography did a fantastic job on our wedding. We originally found them on a general search of a wedding website and set up a meeting after viewing the website and pictures. Tania is so creative and talented. We knew when she showed us her photo book at our first meeting that she would do a great job. She was always available and promptly responded to our emails. She made the photography portion of our wedding stress free. When we saw our pictures we were more than pleased. She put together a personal video for us on Valentine’s day, one month after our wedding, which was so special and nothing that we had expected. Our pictures were done at the time she said, 4-8 weeks, unlike the horror stories I have heard at least half of my friend’s have, many waiting 6 months to a year to see their pictures. Tania is a truly an amazing, talented, and creative photographer. We fell in love with her and her photos immediately. She is so sweet, caring, and easy-going that you can’t help but feel comfortable with her, even if you are camera shy. Tania was so attentive and helpful with all our emails and calls. My husband and I were trying to plan our “destination” wedding on St. Augustine Beach from 2 different states almost 1,400 miles apart. Tania went above and beyond to meet with us when we were in the area and help us with the details while also taking the time to listen and ask questions. She is very accommodating and allowed us to turn our engagement session into a day-after session where we could have fun around St. Augustine all dressed up again. We did have fun! We are tremendously impressed by the way she was able to use her creative talent: to capture our personalities, to work with the light and settings, to use the photojournalistic style in capturing the big and small moments of our wedding, and to give us some incredible photos that we absolutely LOVE! Our friends and family are so impressed with our photos and how many little moments she caught. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Tania! She is incredibly nice and easy going. We did an engagement shoot with her in St. Augustine and we were married at the beach and she is just so creative. My husband is certainly not someone who gets excited for standing around for any amount of time for pictures, but she helped him feel comfortable and the sneak preview shots she posted for us to view were absolutely beautiful. We could not have been any happier with our experience with her, I will be calling her in the future (not near) when we are ready for pictures of our children. Tania is an amazing photographer who truly captured our personalities in our photos...she took the time to listen and asked a lot of questions prior to the wedding so that she knew exactly what we wanted. Our photos are absolutely breathtaking! Tania is so creative and really fun to work with, she makes you feel so at ease.

Tania took amazing care of us from the first time I contacted her. She always responded to every email, and frantic phone call. Her very affordable engagement session gave us the opportunity to see how talented she really is, and to rest assured she has got such a knack for putting her "models" at ease. She is so fun to work with, but was also so unobtrusive at our wedding. I was amazed to see how many little moments she caught without ever pulling us away from our celebration. Tania at clear skies photography was a DREAM come true. She is super sweet, amazingly professional, and her pictures were FLAWLESS. We can't say enough great things about Tania! We had a destination wedding and picked Tania because her photos on her website looked fantastic. We met her 3 days before our wedding for engagement photos on the beach. She was covered in water and sand by the end of the session to make sure she got the perfect shot. On the day of our wedding, she was early, calm, and catered to the quirks of us and our guests. You can trust our comments because I had never met Tania before our wedding event and would use her again in a heartbeat.

Tania is so awesome. We found her after looking through literally hundreds of photographs by tons of photographers in Northern Florida. After looking at her website, my husband (then-boyfriend!) and I both knew she was the right choice. The pictures on her website really captured the happiness and fun-loving spirit we want to bring to our wedding. When I talked to her on the phone the first time I was immediately drawn to her enthusiasm and her excitement for her job. She clearly wanted to help us create great wedding pictures, but she also wanted to make sure we had a fabulous wedding. She offered to give us any advice we needed about Northern Florida because she knew we were not locals. When we first met her on the beach (at 6 am!) for our engagement session, we knew we had picked the right photographer. She was all smiles (despite the earlier hour) and we could tell that she wanted the pictures to be perfect for us. She clearly has a vision for her photos, but she also asked our opinions and she wanted to make sure she was getting the shots we wanted. And she did. We love the photos! During the wedding and reception, she made sure she captured all of the important moments, but she also got a lot of great candid shots. Tania was an absolute joy to work with. I had a relatively short time to plan my wedding and Tania was flexible in every single way. From the start she made me comfortable and more importantly, the photography on the day of the event was non-invasive. My now husband was very leary of the amount of time we would spend away from our guests taking pictures and he too was very impressed. I recommend Clear Skies Photography to anyone I can. Tania was able to capture the essence of our small and intimate wedding. She knew when and where to take our photos without disturbing our special moments. She's also very responsive to any question I had, which I had a lot of since we planned the wedding from two different states. She's very easygoing, friendly and pleasant :) Please don't hesitate to consider her as a photographer for your wedding.

When I began interviewing wedding photographers, this was an actual, word-for-word response I received from one: "I'd recommend against having the ceremony in the base chapel. It's pretty old, unattractive, and has *really* bad lighting. We shot there last weekend and it was a real struggle to get anything decent." - anonymous Jacksonville photographer Seriously, what did he want us to do? Move our wedding for him? LOL! As a TV reporter and anchor, I know that the sign of a truly talented video or still photographer is someone who can capture light. Any photographer who takes only black and white pictures is hiding their lack of understanding for lighting, one of the most basic but most important concepts. Tania's pictures don't have to be retouched and they don't have to be color-corrected. They look beautiful from the moment she snaps them (I know, because I looked at several of them straight from her camera screen). All you have to do is look at her pictures to know her use of color is incredible, her ability to capture moments is astounding, and the way she conceptualizes the art of a photo is remarkable. She is so versatile, capturing classic, elegant moments with the same skill as the hilarious, fun ones. On top of all that, she was a breeze to work with. My husband, who is VERY camera-shy, was comfortable in seconds with Tania, and he couldn't stop looking at the pictures when we received them. (Which, I should also add, was VERY quickly. Some wedding photographers will take months to get your pictures back to you!) Your big day only happens once. If you get your pictures back and they aren't what you wanted or they don't capture all of the details and moments, there's no do-over. So make sure it's done right the first time. Tania even does a complimentary engagement shoot (which could cost hundreds of dollars by itself!) so that you can see her style and she can learn yours BEFORE your big day. If you want a wedding photographer who is professional, talented and affordable, Tania is the only way to go. Thank you, Tania, for giving us the wedding photos I had imagined. P.S. Tania of Clear Skies photography was the perfect person to photograph our wedding day. Tania is all about unscripted, casual photography which fit our style perfectly. She really made our wedding day extra special. Working with Tania was more akin to working with family then simply hiring some one to go through the motions. She seemed to really care that we were taken care of and it shows in the photos! Tania really went out of her way from driving us around, to taking us to multiple locations and making them work! From a business side she was totally professional and easy to work with. All correspondence was followed up on promptly, she called to confirm a few days before and the day before as well.
