Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant

The BEST location ever to have a wedding! The staff was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met...and I am the mother of the bride! Simply amazing!

I would never recommended this venue to anyone. It was raining during my wedding and they venue told the dj not to even worry about setting up because my wedding would be over by 8 and we had the venue till 10 and at 9:50 they turned all of the lights on and kicked everyone out. Also they gave me less than an hour to decorate the whole wedding myself, I was under the impression they decorated but I found out around 4 that wasn't the case, so I was outside with my bridesmaids in the rain unloading cars and decorating. Plus my worst fear was confirmed and there were not enough places to sit, that was after people who RSVPed didn't come. But at the end of the day we were married and off to our honeymoon.

The coordinator at Casa Marina is fantastic all through the planning stages. It is once the wedding is actually taking place where it all falls apart. The fact that I had to point out that there was gum on the arms of the guest chairs did not sit well. The food service was sloppy and disorganized. I provided color coding as requested and the servers still had trouble getting the correct meals where they belonged. Although - once served the food was delicious. The setting is beautiful. It is a venue better used by a small( under 100 guest) wedding . Also - it is better for a guest list made up of non dancers.

My husband and I could not have been happier with our wedding at Casa Marina. Everything was just perfect. Becky was exceptional and always available to answer the neverending list of questions. Sterling, our maitre d, was an absolute blessing to have to help guide us through the evening. Our wedding feast was AMAZING! We had HUGE portions of prime rib and chicken marsala with all the trimmings and fantastic service. Casa Marina was everything we could have hoped for and we would choose it all over again if we could!

My husband and I could not be any happier that we chose Casa Marina as our venue for our wedding ceremony (courtyard) and reception. Yes the prices were a bit high, but the food was incredible, the service was incredible. It was worth every penny we paid. You do not book a venue this great on the beach and not expect it to be a bit expensive. If we had to plan a wedding all over again, we would go straight back to Casa. Becky was helpful (she is a coordinator, not a wedding planner) and Sterling was equally wonderful during our reception. Our friends and family had a great time, and that was our goal. We were incredibly pleased. This location also gave us some terrific pictures and memories :)

I have been going to Casa Marina for Sunday brunch for the last few years, so I was already familiar with the high quality of the food & service. Casa Marina did not let me down for my wedding day! Everyone raved about the food; even some of my difficult-to-please guests. The historic beauty and charm shines through in the pictures. The courtyard is romantic and perfect for the ceremony. During the planning process, my coordinator switched from Bev to Becky. The transition was smooth and Becky was on top of everything! Sterling also did not disappoint in helping us stay on-time and guide us through the key points of the reception. The tables & seating were all set up exactly as requested. Thank you, Casa Marina crew!

The Casa Marina hotel and restaurant was a great place for our reception. We got married around the corner at BUMC's (Beaches United Methodist Church) small chapel in the back. Anyway, CM was gorgeous. We got married in April and the weather was beautiful. CM was very professional. Both CM and BUMC had coordinators to help with all the logistics. CM is directly on the beach so it made for great pictures. The only real drawback to CM is the price. Get ready to drop a lot of money for this place. I still gave them 4 stars on value because although you get what your money pays for, I've seen more fancy places for the same price, they just happen to be on the beach and charge whatever they want. But I guess that's the name of the business when it comes to weddings.

My wedding was on the 1st of January and it was just beautiful! Bev Davoli worked with me so that it was absolutely gorgeous, and lucky me they still had their holiday decorations up which where a teal color and had peacock feathers in them. The whole thing was just stunning! I am so happy with how it all turned out, and such a short period of time too (Started planning in late Oct/ early Nov!!). Would recommend them to anyone!

I had my wedding at the Casa Marina in late December. They did such a wonderful job! From helping me plan the wedding in the courtyard to making sure all of my guests were happy with their stay, I couldn't be any happier! A special thank you to Ms.Bev Davoli and Sterling. They made sure everything ran without worry. It was such a fantastic ceremony and reception venue. I will be sure to recommend it to others. Thank you for making it perfect!

Casa Marina was not only beautiful venue, but the staff was awesome too! Our guests enjoyed the evening as much as we did. The food was terriffic and we loved every minute of our reception there!! Thanks Bev and Sterling!!

We can't say enough great things about the Casa Marina. They are dedicated to and passionate about making your wedding reception perfect and the day you imagine it to be. Bev Davoli is flexible and acommodating and has a keen understanding of the bridal business. The banquet staff at the CM are second to none in professionalism and attention to detail. They exceeded every one of our expectations. We couldn't be happier.

The people at Casa Marina are passionate about weddings. They do every thing in their power to make your day perfect. You and your partner will truly feel like a king and queen for the day. I have yet to hear a single criticism from our guests - over a month later and people are still raving about it. I have also been to other events at Casa Marina and they too, were ideal.

Eric and I have the best experience at the Casa Marina. We initially met Beverly six months before the wedding, and then flew back home to California. Throughout the planning process, Beverly and her assistant, responded to my telephone calls and emails in a timely fashion. The day of the wedding was the best experience every. We are very happy to have chosen the Casa Marina for our ceremony and reception. The food and service were amazing. Our guests had the best time! And, I do have to mention that the venue itself photographs beautifully. As for the cost, I believe that it was reasonable, and definitely worth the cost. Especially given the fact that the food was really great.

My husband and I have always loved the Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant. We had been searching for a place to be married and one night we were dining at the Casa Marina Restaurant and there happen to be a wedding taking place the same evening and it was just absolutely beautiful and so we decided we would be married at the same location. However, due to our wedding being a lot smaller (20 to 30 people) we were unable to reserve the patio for our ceremony. Although, we weren't able to use the patio, the management still accommodated us by allowing us to reserve the side banquet room for our mini reception. This actually worked out better for us due to budget constraints and we still managed to have the ceremony on the beach in back of Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant and then immediately following after have a Sunday brunch as our reception in the private room they provided. It was just right and the staff was very professional and very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. In addition we also stayed at the hotel the night before and was able to get ready for our big day. It was perfect! We will definitely recommend Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant to others.

I have mixed feelings for Casa Marina after our wedding. It was absolutely the most beautiful venue in the city but the cost was very high and they have a minimum amount you must spend. They provide a planner but she was not very helpful. Overall this was a great place but at a bad price and with customer service that left something to be desired.

I love the Casa Marina; it is such a beautiful location right next to the ocean but still has a historic and intimate feeling about it. The staff were awesome on our wedding day and the food was delicious! I still have people telling me how good the food was even a year later.
