I am so happy I chose C to do the alterations on my wedding dress! She was highly referred to me by Park Avenue Bridal in Mandarin. She is so professional but fun to work with as well. Her work is absolutely beautiful! She suggested going with the French bustle instead of the American. My dress came out amazing and looks gorgeous! I felt so relaxed being around C and trusted her the moment I met her with my dress. She is very honest, courteous & prompt with her work. I wouldn't use anyone else and have already started recommending her to friends and family! Not only did C make my dress beautiful, she gave me helpful tips for wearing my wedding dress on the big day! Thank you C for everything!

C is an excellent seamstress! She recently made some alterations to my wedding dress and created a 3 point bustle that matched the design of my dress perfectly. Needless to say, it is beautiful!! She also altered my mom's dress for the wedding and it is lovely as well! C is so much more than a seamstress though. She gave me lots of very helpful advice for the wedding, from how to walk, stand, pose for pictures, and even smile! :) She is very professional, nice, and she makes you feel comfortable. And she listens to you and what you want for your dress. I HIGHLY recommend her for any and all alterations and sewing!

"C" has done an amazing job with my dress. I was recommended to her by Park Avenue Bridal in Jacksonville,FL. After I purchased my dress I had an unexpected surgery which changed how my dress would fit. C did an amazing job and used her skills to alter the dress. Thank you, C for all you have done!

The work that Cee does is amazing! My dress was the typical China nightmare purchase. No way, no how did the dress fit. Cee was able transform my dress to an amazing look. She does amazing work. She added a corset. The corset looks like it was made that way. She made a bustle and gave me great advice and pointers from bras to shoes and how it impacts the dress. Cee is an amazing professional and i am so happy i came across her when i needed my dress altered...

C was amazing! I am an out of state customer and she blocked off time for me to get my dress in the time frame I was in Florida. She was very professional and had more than just knowledge on the seamstress side of things but gave great wedding day advice that every bride could use. She made the entire process fun rather than stressful! She can do virtually anything you want done to the dress with great ease. I would trust her with any dress knowing that she is very capable and takes great pride in her work. I could not have asked for a better experience and my dress turned out BEAUTIFUL!!

C is amazing! Her work is flawless, and she is very quick! She altered my wedding dress, my sister's bridesmaid dress, and my mom's dress - and they all turned out perfectly. Even when she had a family emergency the weekend before my final fitting, she was able to finish the alterations on my dress, and it turned out perfectly! I asked her to re-do the top part of my dress (the lace was covering the sweetheart neckline, and I decided I wanted to be able to see the sweetheart more), and she came up with the most perfect, beautiful solution that kept the integrity of the lace and looks like it's how the dress was made to be. C also gave me tips about how to sit and stand in my dress, which I found very helpful! She also made the bustle completely idiot proof, so that it will be easy to do on the wedding day. I really cannot say enough positive things about C - she is fabulous and I would absolutely recommend her work to anyone!

Mrs. Pratte was amazing! She was professional, kind and had such expertise. She made me feel like a princess once the dress was finished. I believe what I had for a bustle was the French bustle. It made it feel so southern and charming. Thank you Again.

I bought a Maggie Sottero dress for my wedding and I, like most brides, knew the minute I put it on that it was "the dress". I took the dress to C for a hem and bustle. I could not have asked for a better seamstress. The back room of her home is where she does the alterations and she really works with the bride to make sure you're happy, and that her work fits your budget. She offered a hoop, which lifted the dress, making it even more gorgeous, and saved me money on a complete hem!! The bustle was amazing and it looked like the dress was made for me. C was funny and personable, and always willing to work with my schedule. With all of the stress that a bride feels, C makes sure that the dress is not another thing to worry about :)

If you want quality workmanship by a seamstress that can do it all, then you need to take your dress to C Pratte for alterations. Not only will you be 100% satisfied with the way your dress looks and fits, but you also will have peace of mind because C completes her work on time. Her studio is clean and comfortable, and C is honest and welcoming. If you choose C as your seamstress, your dress could not look better if it was sewn onto your body!

C was absolutely amazing. I live out of town and she was very easy to work with to make sure I could get my dress altered on my schedule. She did a wonderful job and couldn't ask for anything better. I'm excited to show it off on my wedding day and I will definitely recommend her to all my friends! She also gave me some bridal tips for the wedding day. C does the most beautiful work! She did some alterations on my wedding dress last month, and totally exceeded my expectations. She fit the dress perfectly to my body, and is very knowledgeable in the wedding area. Not only was her work flawless, but she gave me a lot of advice on how to look my best on my wedding day. (skinny pose :) ) She created a bustle that was unique to my dress, and also taught my bridesmaids how to lace and bustle my dress. That was a huge help on wedding day! I would recommend C to all brides looking for the perfect fit!

C was an AMAZING seamstress. She has many years of experience and is extremely talented. She had my dress back to me in a timely manner and was extremely professional. C is able to do anything and everything you could imagine needing done for your gown for your special day. I requested she incorporate a small piece of my grandmother's gown into mine and she found a creative way to do so. C found ways to perfect my dress that I never would have thought of! My gown was altered to flatter my body so I can look my best on my wedding day. I would recommend any bride to C, as she made me feel comfortable and did a fantastic job.

Most people recommend using a seamstress that works on a particular designed so I was nervous about alterations as I bought my dress in California and the designer wasn't sold anywhere in Florida. I know absolutely nothing about sewing, etc., but in my first correspondence with C, my fear subsided. C did a wonderful job on my dress which was silk and lace. In addition, she made a belt and hair comb for me out of flowers and fabric from my dress designer. The dress fit perfectly and my bustle was easy to tie. C runs a fantastic business and provides a great service for a great value. I would highly recommend her to all brides.

My dress was the perfect find for me but when it came in...it did anything but fit me well. C assured me that when she completes the alterations, it would fit me like a glove. When I went for my final fitting I honestly didn't want to take it off. PERFECTION!!!! C was easy to work with and accomodating to my schedule. I would recommend her to ANYONE needing alterations to their dress! I absolutely LOVED my bussel...so creative, easy for my MOH to tie...work of art!

My sister just got married in May and went to C for her alterations, so I got to meet C and see how she did things with my sister first. She was great! She had a quick turnaround time and her work is impeccable. So there was no question about who I was going to see for my alterations! She was very professional and flexible with my mother and I's crazy schedules and easy to contact. C was extremely helpful and had great tips for me to look my best on my wedding day!!

C. was so accommodating! I had just moved and was only in town during the holidays and C. offered to bustle my dress and do any alterations I might need during the Christmas/New Years week. C. was very professional and offered great advice on how to stand in the pictures to make the most of the dress and my figure. I did not need any alterations but the bustle was perfect!

I am so glad I went to C! After reading her reviews, I didn’t even bother going to the seamstress the bridal shop referred me to. C is very talented, my dress looks perfect and I can’t wait to wear it! She is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable from the moment you step into her little studio. I am so happy that I choose "C" for the alterations on my wedding dress! When I first received my wedding dress, I knew that there would have to be alot of alterations made and I was very nervous about looking for a seamstress. Just like any bride, looking online was my number 1 source for finding a seamstress. I came across "C's" page and saw so many wonderful reviews that I knew I definitely had to contact her, and I'm so glad that I did. I sent her an email and she replied right away. The day of my appointment came and I was so nervous, but she came outside her house and greeted me and I knew I was in good hands. She has such a nice studio inside of her house, that you can feel comfortable when you are doing the fitting of your dress. "C" is very easy to talk to, yet she is very honest with her options.
