Becky's Alterations & Bridal Boutique

I went to Becky's Alterations and Bridal Boutique not sure if I would find success or not. Becky had quite the job in front of her as I needed a dress that would fit my 7-month pregnant body. Little did I know that after trying on only a handful of dresses, I would find one that was absolutely perfect. They listened to my wish list and helped me to understand what would and wouldn't work in a dress. I received so many compliments on my wedding dress. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am for their help.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Becky did the most beautiful job on my flower girls dresses (I had two). Good value as well.

HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL experience none the less. As I arrived I was not greeted, but had to go to the back to have someone help me, which wasn't Becky. I have no idea who the other lady was because she didn't even introduce herself. Becky was mainly on the phone as I felt rushed without personal care such as her not asking my name, as she thought I was someone else. She wanted to charge me close to $400.00 for alterations. I felt this was too high and wanted another estimate somewhere else. Then, Becky not pleased with my answer, wanted to charge me $30.00 just for coming in! I was not told on the phone or when coming in that I would be charged $30.00 for a quick estimate (nothing in writing either)! Five minutes total she was with me! When asking about this fee she immediately was short and overly angry with me. When I refused she slammed the crinoline slip dress (that I was going to pay for) on the desk, and then preceded slamming the slip onto the floor showing her ruthless DISTRUSTFUL temperament. Her attitude was none the less DISTASTEFUL and unprofessional. I forgot what she said verbally but I can tell you how she made me feel, ATTACKED AND REPULSIVE, while pushing me verbally to pay this fee! I have never had an owner attack me as she did. I was in SHOCK! After the personal attack she walked to the back still unable for me to leave, because she did not give me my dress back yet. I called my husband and told him to come as soon as possible because she was TERRIFYING me (I was alarmed and FEARFUL). She finally returned with my dress by pushing it to the ground, then immediately saying 'get out of my place.' It was so DEGRADING and HORRIBLE. I'm thinking this is supposed to be my wedding dress and how excited I was until now, even her treating my wedding dress that way. I am definitely not one to complain and I was more than nice to her. I feel just because she was stressed (which was written all over her face and her conversations on the phone with issues at her job) did not mean she had to take it out on me. Overall, I would NOT recommend Becky's Alterations to anyone or step foot in that door and left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least. I will be going somewhere else where I am treated as a human being!

I cannot say enough to explain how incredibly amazing she is! Becky helped me in March 2009 alter a bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding. I brought the same dress back to Becky in January 2010 and asked for the dress to be transformed to match a dress for another wedding. I also brought in a friends dress that needed the same changes as my dress. All I did was bring the dress in, show her a picture of how the dress needed to look and put the dress on so Becky could make a few marks and then I was on my way. I came back in at a later date to pick the dresses up at a later date and was absolutely thrilled. Becky did an amazing job on the dresses! The dresses were perfect and the bride could not have been happier with how they looked. Becky is fantastic! If you need alterations of any sort, you should take everything to Becky! You will not be disappointed!!!

I have a problem with pants fitting because I am thick around the middle and have slim legs. This was the first time I have ever had anything altered. Becky tapered the legs in 4 pair of pants. They fit me perfectly for the first time in my life...I almost cried! She did a fantastic job. I will be using her services from here on out! THANK YOU BECKY!!!

I got my dress from Becky... gorgeous!!!! She even lengthened it for me and was so helpful! She is a wonderful seamstress and just a nice woman. HIGHLY recommend her!

Becky's Alterations is a wonderful vendor for not just your Bridal Gown, but bridesmaids, flower girls and your normal clothing alterations. Becky is a 3rd Generation Seamstress and is affortable and an expert at her trade. She is friendly and everything she touches turns out perfect. I have had my own and family bridesmaid dresses altered there as well as my own personal wedding gown...I would never go anywhere else, Becky is the only person I would allow to touch my gown!
