Amanda Hopcraft- Makeup Artist

The most important day of your life, your wedding. You want everything to be perfect. With me recently moving into the area I thought that finding a makeup artist and hairstylist would be near impossible. Amanda Hopcraft blew away any expectations I had. All of my bridesmaids were extremely please with the work that was done. All I heard was you got the best of everything; makeup artist, hair stylist, etc etc. Amanda was easy going and did her job with ease. She really seems to enjoy what she does, and that was a huge selling point for me. Passion for your profession is key. My wedding day was amazing and it all started with Amanda and her crew. She responds quickly to emails and follows through with any promise she makes. I highly recommend her for any special day.

Amanda is an extremely talented makeup artist. She was an absolute joy to work with from the first moment we spoke on the phone. I chose to do a makeup trial before my wedding day, which couldn't have gone any better. She asked me what I had in mind for my big day, and I really had no idea. She said that was fine and went to work. I couldn't believe my eyes when she was done and I looked in the mirror! I looked so beautiful!:) I knew I was very lucky to have found her and couldn't wait for my wedding day. Any time I had a question, she would get back to me right away. I was relieved that I had one less thing to worry about! She arrived right on schedule on my wedding day, and did a bridesmaid and the two mom's makeup first. I have never seen them look so beautiful! I was really nervous, and she helped calm me down. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome! I loved my makeup and got compliments all night long. It was also very nice to not have to do too many touchups, as your wedding day is super busy! Amanda is an amazing artistand has a wonderful personality. I would highly recommend her!

Amanda is an amazing makeup artist! She did my makeup for my wedding, and I was so pleased with her work. Not only did she do a great job with my makeup, but she is so friendly and fun to be around! I felt like she was a close friend after only knowing her a short time. She made me feel comfortable and she was easy to talk to about what I wanted my makeup to look like. I would definitely use Amanda again! I already saw my wedding pictures and my makeup looks awesome!

Ladies...look no further...Amanda is the one! I just have to say that Amanda and I hit it off from the get go. She was extremely professional and responsive from my very first inquiry...oh, and did I mention TALENTED!?! I had a destination wedding on Jekyll Island and was very concerned about finding the right person to beautify my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and myself for the "Big Day". I am very particular, and like every bride, I wanted everything to be just perfect. I cannot praise Amanda enough. She worked her magic on all of us, and even took care of a couple of more ladies whom were not originally planning on getting their makeup done. It was wonderful that she was able to work them in as well. I must also say that Julia is an amazing hairdresser! Julia can create whatever style you have in mind. She is such a talent and will not let you leave her chair until your hair is perfect! My wedding was a true fairytale- Thanks to these ladies!!

Amanda did my makeup for my wedding as well as my mother and grandmother. She did a fantastic job and I got many compliments on my makeup. Amanda was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I had found out about Amanda's talents through a Google search while planning for my wedding. I needed an artist that was available for a Tuesday morning wedding AND who could travel to a Bed & Breakfast in St. Augustine. I lucked out when I found Amanda's website through Wedding Wire as she was more than happy to work with my early wedding hours AND travel to do my makeup and hair onsite! I absolutely adored Amanda since the moment I first e-mailed her; she is upbeat, considerate, professional and very genuine. I felt like I knew her immediately! We clicked right away (I was an "Amanda Bride," yeah!) and I was very impressed with her prompt replies to my e-mails and questions. Her rates are very reasonable and to be honest she could charge more! She is amazingly talented at makeup application and an expert in her field. My makeup was beautiful and my guests could not get over how gorgeous I looked! I wish I could have Amanda do my makeup every day! Her airbrushing technique is awesome and will leave your skin looking FLAWLESS all day!! Before I close my review, I must also thank Amanda's hair stylist, Julia! Julia was absolutely fabulous and knows hair like the back of her hand! She is very creative but can give you the hairstyle you desire by just showing her a picture! My hair was exquisite for the wedding and again, I had no shortage of compliments from my guests! My wedding photos turned out beautifully and I have Amanda and Julia to thank. Also, they both offer hair and makeup trials for a small fee at their salon in Palatka; take advantage of this service! This way you can experiment and find that "perfect look" you want for your wedding day. Thank you so much Amanda and Julia for making me a gorgeous bride! I have one word for Amanda awesome! I would not hesitte to use her again. I am a woman of color and believe me she picked just the right shades for my skin tone. I have received so many compliments on our wedding photo's saying I looked radiant that that was all Amanda she made a 40 year old + bride look fanstatic for my wedding day. Thank you Amanda!!!

Amanda is amazing! She did my makeup, our moms and my entire bridal party. My make-up trial was spot on. Come wedding day, it was even better - in fact it was perfect! I had a couple of breakouts on my cheek from all the late nights and she made them disappear. She was very easy to talk to, she made everyone feel comfortable and most specially - beautiful! We all loved our make-up. My bridesmaids kept saying how they do not feel like they are wearing any yet they feel and look gorgeous. Amanda is extremely talented and I highly recommend her!

I'm so happy that I had Amanda as my make-up artist! She tried something new and bold with my bridal makeup that I requested, and did a fantastic job! Amanda has such a fun personality so it made my wedding day that much more enjoyable! She also was very quick to corrrespond through phone calls and e-mails before the wedding!

Amanda did a wonderful job! Everyone's makeup looked so beautiful and lasted all night :) I am very picky when it comes to makeup because I usually like to do it myself. I don't like too much makeup, but yet I wanted to get it done for my wedding day. What does anyone want on their wedding day the most? They want to smile.. ALL DAY LONG.. No matter what doesn't go right, no matter if it was perfect or not.. No matter what happens.. you want to smile. Amanda did just that for me. You made me feel great on the outside with your awesome make-up skills and on the inside knowing I could relax because I was in the hands of a professional. I highly recommend Amanda. Not only does she do amazing work, she is a very professional to work with. Amanda and her crew were fantastic! They made all of my ladies look wonderful! She had to fit us in early in the day, but everyone still looked fabulous well into the night. Several guests asked my mother and mother-in-law, "Who did the makeup?" My suggestion is to book early!!! This lady is super good and will get booked up quickly!
